... and after so looooooooooong i finally finished and submitted the very famous Vagina Spoon that i've been talking about for so long.
As some of you know the first genital spoon i posted was the Phallus Spoon and decided to create a partner for it.
I know i never posted the dimensions of Phallus and i had a few requests asking me to mention its size. Vulva Spoon has very similar dimensions as Phallus, their size is about 9" long x 3" wide.
Vulva Spoon was carved out of Pine wood and Phallus was carved out of Bass wood.
I have to say that carving Vulva was a much flowing, more creative driven project than Phallus, simply because Phallus was the first genital spoon i came up with and i was a bit nervous to go at it with a relaxed approach. Being the first, i had to experiment with a lot of things such as material, carving tools, design, flow, dimensions, colour, personal carving techniques and most of all creative energy and personal interpretation of what a stylized genital would look like.
The connection between mind~creativity~stylization~and projection of these through carver hands was a bit rough in the first spoon, this is why Phallus has a somewhat stiff look (NOT THAT THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH STIFF PHALLUSES ~ I MEAN THE STIFFER THE BETTER!!!!! -now laugh-) ... but you know what i mean! the design and flow of carved lines and composition all together seems to me to look a bit simple, stiff, lacking in movement, amateur ... well lacking the organic feel.
Vulva, however, being my second spoon, seems more flowing, more creative, more capturing maybe thanks to its better design and movement, it certainly captured a more organic look and tactile feel to it perhaps because it was my second spoon and i became more skilled. Either way, it's all GEWD!!! ... we all learn and we all get better at what we do.
So ok, going now beyond the technical part of the spoons, i'm gonna talk a bit about the personal part of it.
I created these two spoons as gifts for two of my friends. These friends of mine were a married couple and then after ten years they decided to get divorced and it all took me by surprise. It's like one day they were fine and happy (or so we all thought) and the next day they could not stand each other at all. It seemed that ever since i gave them each their spoon (Phallus to her and Vulva to him) they very quickly separated and very quickly found someone else to be with and be happy.
It is a very odd story but i guess a very good happy one? yeah ok !! LOL ... LaterZ.
